Experience: -I have a sister diagnosed with autism and cerebral palsy -I have a bachelor's degree in psychology with a heavy focus in behavior modification and autism (Graduated April 2017) -While in college I had an internship at Presley Ridge Autism and Emotional Support Day School from Sept. 2016-April 2017 -I'm currently a part time Direct Support Professional where I work with adults with intellectual and developmental/physical disabilities. I started in Aug. 2017-present. -I currently work as an Instructional Student Aid for elementary aged students M-F. I do most basic personal care procedures, if you have questions about specifics, just ask. Even if I do not have experience in specific adaptive equipment, I am more than willing to learn. I know basic sign language and can hold simple conversations. I have my FBI and Child Abuse clearances and I'm CPR and First Aid certified. I'm looking for something casual.
