About Kiersten

Hi! I'm Kiersten. I am 23 years old, originally from New Jersey. I have been in San Diego since 2019. As a caregiver, my passion for nurturing children's growth stems from my prior sitting roles and the desire to positively impact their lives. My patient demeanor, coupled with creativity and approachability, allows me to effectively engage with children. I prioritize open communication with parents, ensuring their preferred method is followed when discussing their child's day or any concerns. Enforcing any rules comes naturally to me, being the oldest of 3. I'm comfortable maintaining a structured environment. Children thrive when engaged in play, so I enjoy outdoor sports, board games, & games that stimulate learning. With 7 years of experience as a sitter, camp counselor, & horse therapy rider for kids with special needs, I'm comfortable caring for all kids! I'm happy to assist with cooking meals, light housekeeping, travel, and supervising swimming activities, & am a non-smoker.
