After graduating with a degree in Music Education (BM, Saint Norbert College, 2019), I spent two years teaching choir and general music to 7th and 8th graders. I also taught theatre and music classes at local and equity theatre academies (Sunset Playhouse, First Stage) and stayed active in the community theatre scene, prior to and during the COVID-19 pandemic. I returned to university to earn my Master's degree in Vocal Performance: Musical Theatre Performance as well as a Post Master's Advanced Certificate in Vocal Pedagogy (MM, New York University, exp. 2023). I had the honor of having Kiera as a student In choir at High Schools for the past 4 years, I also had her as a private voice student all 4 years. Kiera is a wonderful person - kind, considerate, compassionate. She has excellent leadership skills - she was the class leader this past year in addition to being a section leader for the past 2 years. Kiera relates well to all students of all ability levels and always was the first to volunteer to help when help was needed.
