About Kiely

The first child I ever took care of was my little sister. She was born when I was 10 and at the age I'd help my father take care of her by giving her a bath, changing her diaper, feeding her dinner, reading her a story before bed and on nice days id take to her to the park to swing or out side to play with the neighborhood children. By the time I was 14 I'd help the neighboring families by watching their kids out side after school during the warmer weather. After watching and interacting with all the kids in my neighborhood I realized I wanted a career in child care. So by the time I was 16 I started working at a group family daycare. My job included changing diapers, feeding children, putting them down for a nap and preparing them for dismissal. Everyday was a new and exciting adventure and for now I hope to continue gathering experience until the day I am able to open a daycare of my own.
