I'm currently looking for full time and part-time positions. I have been a caregiver for a little over four years, with both experience in private caregiving and a facility- specialized in memory care (residents with dementia). In my experience of caregiving I had practiced the following duties: feeding, transferring, showering, grooming, hygiene, organizing, laundry, housekeeping, meal prep, overnight supervision, redirecting, note taking, medical appointment supervision, etc. What I love the most about caregiving is getting to know the personality of the person I'm caring for. Learning about their history, humor, routine, likes and dislikes, hobbies is what this job the most fun for me. Being raised by a mother who had been a caregiver/CNA for over 30 years, I have an abundant of advice and lessons that I have been taught since entering this career field.
