Hi - I'm Kiana! I am a loving, and creative person who has a passion for caregiving. I began caregiving 11 years ago starting as a mother's helper. I have a large extended family with lots of younger cousins whom I helped care for whilst growing up, I have experience caregiving for all ages. Over the past few years I have completed NYS EMT & Home Health Aide training and earned certifications. I have provided hospice care, helping with activities of daily living (bathing, cooking, light housekeeping, assisting with eating, using a Hoyer lift/other assistive equipment, ostomy care), companion, walking, meal prep, etc. I have experience caring for special needs as well (stoma care, ostomy bag changing, trach. care, repositioning, transfers from bed to chair, chair to bed, wheelchair to car, Thick-it supplements, assistive eating & tools, assisting with feeding, bed pans, depends(diaper/underwear) changes.
