About Kiana

I'd describe my personality as bubbly, outgoing, and easy to get along with! I began caring for seniors after my grandmother, whom I was very close with, lost her battle with cancer in 2020. I wished I could've cared for her more but found it difficult to see her in that state. Now, my goal is to give others the same love and care I would have given her. My skills include dementia/Alzheimer's care, hospice care, and personal care. I worked in the Float Pool at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest, which allowed me to gain experience across many specialties. I have worked extensively with Alzheimer's and dementia patients, even during sundowning or combative episodes, always showing empathy and understanding. I've also cared for hospice patients, ensuring their final days were filled with compassion. Fun fact: I'm in nursing school and aspire to become an ED or hospice nurse!
