About Khyia

Hello family ! My name is khyia I am a 19yr nursing and Deaf education student. I have 3+ three years of experience in nurturing and educating children. My passion for fostering their growth and development stems from my own positive experience in previous babysitting roles. Each day, I'm motivated to make a positive impact on their lives. My calm and patient demeanor, coupled with my friendly and approachable nature, creates a welcoming environment for children. I prioritize open communication with parents, providing regular updates and utilizing their preferred communication method. I believe in following the parents' lead to ensure consistency for the child. I'm comfortable caring for up to two children, ranging in age from infants to preteens. My educational background includes college, and I'm proficient in both English and American Sign Language (ASL). When it comes to playtime, I enjoy engaging children in various activities, both educational and recreational.
