About Khunsa

Hello, my name is Khunsa (she/her) and I have over four years of babysitting experience, with an emphasis on building a strong social and emotional foundation (also known as Social Emotional Learning, SEL). I utilize compassionate listening, creative play, and media (i.e. reading, crafts, etc.) to make sure the base asks of the caregivers are taken care of and routine is not broken; my past work as a teacher and me currently work as a conflict mediator/facilitator makes the integration of social-emotional learning a seamless task. I strongly believe childcare should be accessible to all and, to that end, value transparent and open conversation around personal finances, class, and wealth, so we can agree on a rate that works best for you and your family without obstacles or sacrifice.
