About Khendal

I'm a Kansas transplant loving California! My two younger sisters gave me early experience in all things kids! My youngest sister is 18 years my junior, and I've learned so much from our experiences together. I began working with children at a daycare, while earning my bachelors degree. After graduating Cum Laude (2022), with a BFA from Fort Hays State, I obtained my Kansas substitute teaching certificate and worked with all ages (k-12). As a substitute teacher I've had the opportunity to work in several classroom settings including special education. Since moving to Los Angeles and obtaining my California substitute teaching certificate, I've enjoyed working at Pinwheels Preschool, substitute teaching in San Gabriel and Pico Rivera schools and currently babysit for two families in Los Angeles on an as needed basis. I love working with children, nurturing their creativity, self confidence and watching them grow and explore. I love all things theatre, art and music.
