Southern Connecticut State University graduate, with a Bachelor's degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies and a minor in Psychology. Possess volunteering experience at Yale New Haven Hospital- Pediatric ED and Overbrook School. Previous occupations include teaching assistant and childcare for children ages 2-13 years. Attend to the basic needs of children while helping to foster early development. Helping younger children prepare for kindergarten or assist with schoolwork. Supervising and monitoring safety at all times, preparing and organizing mealtimes and snacks, keeping up with personal hygiene, diaper changing for infants/toddlers, organizing activities/implementing curriculums, develop schedules and routines to ensure children have enough physical activity/rest/playtime, watching for signs of emotional/developmental issues, and keeping records of child's progress/routines/interests. Personal skills include patience, compassion, organization, creativity, and communication.
