Hello! I'm a 31-year-old aide/tutor/mentor with 10 years of experience and a bachelors in Anthropology. I've worked in both the classroom and in home. Over the last decade, I've worked with ages K - college, as well as all ranges of disabilities. With my inclusion experience, my job was to bridge the gap between teacher's curriculums and student IEP needs, as well as behavioral/physical work to help provide students tools and aide in attending classes. My passion and focus has always been to help create an inclusive and flexible space as well as help students reach their unique individual potential, special needs and provide mentorship in life skills. The simplest way to put it, I have always believed that there are no such thing as a bad student, but rather a disconnect in how a child is taught vs how a child learns and I have prided myself in being able to help a student learn on their terms. I am currently working as a writer and to get my PhD in Medical Anthropology.
