About Kerry

Hi, I'm Kerry! I'm 25 and moved to Charlottesville earlier this summer to attend UVA, where I'm earning my Master of Teaching degree in Elementary Education. As an undergrad at William & Mary, I volunteered and had a paid internship serving as a mentor/tutor/camp counselor to children grades K-12 (with a focus on K-6). I also have experience volunteering at an Early Head Start Center, where I worked with toddlers. I am currently certified in First Aid and CPR for both adults and youth/infants. I'm open to babysitting kids of all ages! I also understand that kids have different needs depending on their age and temperament, so I'm happy to be as hands-on or hands-off as you need me to be while keeping everyone safe. Because I'm balancing classes and student teaching, I currently have availability on Tuesdays before 10:30 a.m. or after 2:15pm, Thursdays before 10:30am, or all day Saturday or Sunday.
