I am honest, hard working, dependable, I have extensive experience as a caregiver. I started caring for seniors in my early twenties. I have experience with clients in wheelchairs, confined to bed, on oxygen, on hospice, as well as active/mobile clients. I have my CPR/ first aid certificates, I am skilled in proper transfer techniques and bedridden individuals. I am very familiar with the needs of Alzheimers and dementia clients, I am good at monitoring patients taking their meds and assisting with personal hygiene and day-to-day care. I also have helped my clients stand, walk, exercise and get some outdoor time, and am happy to join them in watching TV, playing cards, and any other activities they enjoy. Family is very important to me. I keep families updated regarding how their loved one is doing, and also help them be more comfortable with changes as their loved one ages and near the end of life, if needed. I am primarily interested in night care but am also available most days.

Kerri is a stellar caregiver. She has extensive experience and skills not often found in other caregivers. She has worked for me for about 5 years, first caring for my disabled brother through his wheelchair days, then his bedridden days, and then hospice days, and now she cares for me (I am in a wheelchair). She is always on time and cheerfully handles all types of personal care, from help with bathing to changing diapers, doing laundry and housekeeping, preparing meals, helping the client stand and walk when needed, and so much more. Kerri is very efficient and can run a household if needed. She is also a great "handyperson" who can fix many things around the house that need fixing! Most importantly, she truly CARES for those she takes care of, and it shows in so many ways. For example, last year I spent a few days in the hospital, and, without me asking, she organized my caregivers to assure that I would be cared for completely for the first few days when I returned home until I could organize schedules myself. When I had to start using a shower chair, she found a holder for the shower sprayer online and installed it for me, and gave me a great foot cleaner as well. Kerri understands the needs of elderly and disabled people very well, and is knowledgeable regarding devices and techniques for meeting those needs. Those who hire Kerri will be very fortunate! She is an amazing and wonderful person!
