I recommend Kerisha K. wholeheartedly. She is capable, compassionate and trustworthy. Ms. K. took care of my mother for approximately two and a half years until her death last fall. My mother required assistance with bathing, eating, medication management - everything. Ms. K. was able to coax my mom to do things that had become difficult, such as getting in the shower and taking in adequate calories. She knew what my mother wanted and needed on any given day, and was able to both comfort her and make her laugh. Ms. K. was patient and kind, often holding my mother's hand when she was frightened. Not only did Ms. K. make my mother s life better, she greatly enhanced my quality of life. Knowing that Ms. K. was there for my mother was priceless comfort for me. I relied upon Ms. K.'s judgment about my mother s needs a great deal. I am confident that I did the best for my mother by having Ms. K. assist her. Finally, I work in this field - I'm an elder law attorney.That gives me insight into what the care alternatives for older persons are.
