My name is Keri, and I'm the mom of two older teens. I have a strong background in ECE and Special Education, specifically working with Autistic children as well as ADHD, anxiety, SPD and PDA. My approach to care is empathetic and trauma informed, and I especially enjoy working collaboratively with children who have a demand avoidant profile. I am currently certified as EEC Lead Teacher: Preschool as well as EEC Teacher: Infant/Toddler. Before having children, I worked as a HS teacher (5y), a RIE nanny (2y) and then as a SAHM. The past two years, I've worked as a teacher at a private school for neurodivergent children ages 3-8, and I continue to offer PDA specific parent coaching services through the school. If you struggle to find/keep sitters that work for your child due to demand avoidance or anxiety, I may be the care solution you're looking for. Ms. Keri is an awesome teacher and caregiver, especially for special needs kids. My kid attended a local summer camp twice and Ms. Keri was the lead teacher for both times. She is truly excellent at understanding kids and getting them well-regulated and as cooperative as they could be. Highly recommended!
