My name is Keri, and I'm the mom of two older teens. I have a strong background in ECE and Special Education, specifically working with Autistic children as well as ADHD, anxiety, SPD and PDA. My approach to care is empathetic and trauma informed, and I especially enjoy working collaboratively with children who have a demand avoidant profile. I am currently certified as EEC Lead Teacher: Preschool as well as EEC Teacher: Infant/Toddler. Before having children, I worked as a HS teacher (5y), a RIE nanny (2y) and then as a SAHM. The past two years, I've worked as a teacher at a private school for neurodivergent children ages 3-8, and I continue to offer PDA specific parent coaching services through the school. If you struggle to find/keep sitters that work for your child due to demand avoidance or anxiety, I may be the care solution you're looking for. I use a collaborative and low demands approach, with a focus on proactive co-regulatory strategies. I look forward to hearing from you!

Keri was the lead teacher at the FUSE summer camp our then 7-yo son A attended last year. She was such an exceptional teacher! We were absolutely lucky to have Keri for the summer. A was always looking forward to camp every morning, and, preferred camp days much more compared to weekends, which was rare for him! A has been working on social thinking and social skills since he was 3yo. Keri went above and beyond in getting to know A, and leaning into his interests and strengths to grow him in social thinking and peer connection. A was really into the Who Would Win book series at the time, and Keri would bring in new Who Would Win books every week. She encouraged A's participation in group chats through structured topics that included his interests, but also flex his thinking to contribute into topics his peers are excited about. The whole group developed interests in animal facts and how they battle over time, and A greatly enjoyed sharing his knowledge and bonding with his peers over pretended animal battle plays. It has always been a challenge for A to join group play during unstructured time. Keri, being so exceptionally attuned to her kids, recognized that A is interested in peer play but lacking the skills. She persistently experimented with different games and approaches to engage A, until she found a few games that appeal to A and other camp kids. A enjoyed the 6 weeks of camp very much, and grew significantly in his development areas in that short time period. We are so grateful for having Keri!
