Hello, my name is Keren. I have been a Critical Care Registered Nurse for 22 years. I've recently retired from the hospital, where I worked in the Surgical/Trauma ICU for 20 years. A few months ago, I was diagnosed with a rare vocal disorder called Spasmodic Dysphonia. This disorder has made it difficult for me to function as a nurse in the critical care setting, However, I am fully capable of caring for your loved one. I have a tremendous amount of experience caring for spinal cord injuries, major physical and emotional disabilities, feeding tubes, tracheostomy's, as well as many other disabilities. If you and your loved one can deal with a soft speaking voice, I can provide excellent and compassionate care for your family. A little bit more about myself....
