About Kenzie

Hello! My name is Kenzie and I am looking to find a nanny job for this summer in the Des Moines area. I am currently a sophomore at the University of Northern Iowa, majoring in psychology and social work with a minor in mental health. I hope to one day work with youth in a counseling setting or working as a social worker in an elementary school. I've worked with kids since I was a kid myself, helping with my nephews and volunteering at Sunday school. I also worked for two summers at a summer camp in Story City, IA. I am a hard worker and determined to do my job to the best of my ability, while also building connections with kids and their families. Working at a camp I have become very comfortable with planning activities and I love to have fun, while creating a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere for kids to thrive and be themselves. I am willing to get any certifications wanted by parents as I want you to be comfortable when I am supervising your children. I am also a pet lover!
