Kennisa was my father's caregiver for 3 years prior to his death in 2020. She became a member of our family. She was able to connect with my father and he trusted and loved her as if she was one of his children. My father was not always the easiest to care for. He was stubborn, lazy, and downright mean sometimes. Kennisa kept a level head and was compassionate and patient at times when other caregivers would have (and did previously) become frustrated. She met him on his level of stubborn and let him know that his health was the priority and ensured that he kept up with his medicine and hygiene even on days that he had no intentions of cooperating. She was by his side in the hospital multiple times when he had falls or other illnesses. Her compassionate, steadfast care extended to the whole family. She managed his finances and dealt with tasks I couldn't manage with my work schedule. I highly suggest hiring Kennisa. You will not regret it! Oh, and she's an INCREDIBLE cook. Bonus!
