About Kennedy

I have been working with kids for the past three years, including tutoring elementary aged children, as well being employed at Discovery Point, caring for young children ages infant-5th grade. In addition, I have also been selected to coach a youth spoken word poetry team, consisting of children ages 14-19. I have been to high schools, promoting, teaching, and inspiring young adults for the past year. I am currently in school and building my own theater/arts production company, and need some work in the mean time. Being an older sibling of 4, I've always been very good with children. I'd describe my personality as creative, caring, and mature. I like tutoring because I enjoy assisting children with their work. I think often "problem children" are cast aside, when what they really need is someone to show that they care about them and are willing to help them. It's beautiful to watch a child unlock their full potential when someone believes in them.
