I have a wide range of special needs experience and skills, starting when I was a teenager looking after 7-year-old W who was autistic, then later in my 20's volunteering with Special Olympics, then in the last 3 years caring for 2 sets of brothers with special needs and a young man with a brain injury. Please tell me how I can help. I've found that a no-cost, no-strings "get acquainted" visit is a quick way to see if our chemistry is good. _______ FYI: - I can arrange to be on-call 24x7 for emergent needs. Response time can be under 30 minutes. - My Background and DMV checks are completed and 100% clear. - I'm trustworthy, reliable, pet friendly, and a non-smoker. - I have a comfortable, all-weather vehicle. - I'm certified in First Aid/CPR/AED. - I'm QMAP certified so I can help with meds. - I have an active CDASS id number. - If you'd like a broader picture of me, feel free to take a look at my other profiles.

Hired is not the right word for Ken. He immediately became a family member-going so beyond our initial request. I reached out to Ken, initially, because my husband was having surgery and I needed additional help with my 47 year old disabled son. Ken was able to rearrange his schedule to help out and has been back several times when we've needed him. He is wonderful with our son but also helps with out dog, Halley. He even took her to a doctors appointment while my husband and I were on vacation. He seems to sense our needs and just fills in when and where needed. I was immediately comfortable with him, I trust him completely. I recommend him to anyone who is looking for a great helper and companion.
