Hello! My name is Kenji I've been working with kids since I was 16 years old and have over 10 years of paid childcare experience. I have worked in settings ranging from summer camp, after school care, and private house management. I have worked with kids from ages 6-15. Most recently I was a nanny for over two years to 3 kids. I have worked with special needs kids and kids with specialized medical needs. I pride my self in my ability to create safe and fun atmospheres for children. To develop long lasting relationships, and to help children access and explore their creativity. I am a musician and filmmaker and love to share that with the kids I take care of. Kenji is a wonderful and trustworthy caregiver. My three kids (15, 11, 10) absolutely adore him. Kenji can connect with kids in a meaningful way and he is very attuned to meeting kids where they’re at. I think it’s because he brings his full authentic self to his caregiving and it’s encouraged the kids to do the same. My 10 yo is autistic and an insulin dependent diabetic. Kenji is simply wonderful with him., as he is with my older kids too. A truly trustworthy caregiver.
