I'd describe my personality as hard working, quick learner, optimistic I like caring for seniors because serving others makes me happy. Over the course of my nursing assistant career I've come to love getting to know my residents struggles, hardships, life journey. I've been able to be their friend and love and care for them the way people used to take care of my grandma before she passed. I'm looking for a job that has meaning and purpose! That brings me joy and gives me opportunities to learn and grow. I started caring for seniors when my grandma got very sick. She was my "first" ever pt. The nursing assistants that would come help her taught me how to drain a catheter and how to change a pt while laying in bed. I loved how they were taking care of my grandma and that's when I knew I wanted to do the same work My skills include I can help shower and change residents, take blood sugar and vitals, can transport them
