I hold a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from University of Maryland, and a Master's Degree in Education from Hood College. For the last 7 years, I have taught kindergarten in Montgomery County. I currently still teach full time during the school year, and for a few hours a day during the month of July for summer school. I am available outside of my full time teaching schedule for child care or tutoring. I have experience with providing child care since I was 16 years old in high school, for individual families and for the YMCA. I have significant experience with helping children learn to read, write, and do math. I am a motivated individual that loves working with children! I love seeing them light up as they learn new things and explore their world. I always give 110% to providing a safe environment where kids feel valued and get to have fun. Kendra is FANTASTIC! My kids LOVE HER. She was reliable, helpful, hard working and trustworthy. I have no tv and she kept the girls entertained, took them to school and back, and they were so happy with her. My kids are kind of picky and I am an overprotective mom. I would definitely request Kendra again for occasional care.
