About Kendra

Hi! I'm Kendra - a first grade teacher and a lifelong childcare enthusiast. I have 4 years of classroom experience and have cared for children since high school, from 6 months to 15 years old. During high school, college, and beyond, I worked at A Child's Place daycare in Ann Arbor, caring for kids ages 6 months to 6 years. I was also the head coach of swim team for two summers and was a collegiate swimmer myself! I truly love working with kids - whether it's learning, play, routines, or just being a comforting presence. This summer, my husband and I are adopting a puppy, so I'm looking for part-time nannying or babysitting a couple days a week. I bring structure, patience, energy, and heart to every childcare role and would love to support a local family while spending more time with my own. Looking forward to connecting! :)
