Disappointment. Spoke with Kendra who seemed very nice and smart. She had a good plan for college so ideally she would be available locally for a longer term. Set a date with her that felt both of our schedules, which by the way I mentioned was a little late at night, but she insisted it was ok. I had noticed a lot of reviews where people complained about sitters not showing up from this site. I decided to text her earlier to confirm and even told her we didn't want to rush back from my son's sporting practice. No response. I don't know her day to day schedule so I have no idea if she even saw the texts so we made sure to come quickly from my son's event so he could shower and eat before she came. Never showed up, never called, never text. It's just astounding. A simple "I can't make it", or "Sorry I found something else", or "I'm not interested", would have been fine. Luckily because I had seen the other reviews up on here, I told my kid she may or may not show up, so he didn't really care. I feel bad for the other parents on here who had kids drawing pictures and doing other things for the prospective baby sitters.
