I started tutoring when I realized how much I missed being around students. I spent about 17 years as a secretary in the school office, and I was able to interact with and make a difference for so many students. One thing you should know about me is I take tutoring seriously; it's not just extra money for me. I have invested in my own supplies and teaching aides along the way.
