About Kendra

Hi, My name is Kendra and I have been working with kids ever since graduating high school. I began by teaching swim lessons and lifeguarding, then, became an after-school leader in the city I grew up in, and then worked in special education as an assistant for about 10 years after that. During this time, I have also babysat and tutored kids after-school at their homes (doing pick-up by walking or driving) and would help prepare a snack or meal, play games/do imaginative play/do activities, and help load the dishwasher or work on homework that was assigned from school. I like treating children and adults the way that I would like to be treated and that is why patience, peacemaking, and passion drives the way I interact and work with others.
