I have spent most of my life around individuals with special needs between family members and work. I am incredibly passionate about assisting in life and personal skills to help my clients/kiddos obtain the best quality of life possible. I have spent a lot of time in the special education space and my degree emphasizes a speech therapy and auditory processing background. I have previous experience with working with verbal, partially-verbal, and non-verbal indicators, speech devices, hearing aids, ABA therapy, education assistance, and just having fun with the individuals I work with. I'm patient and understanding of various struggles and strive to help families overcome the many challenges that come with the territory. It's important to celebrate the little things because to me they are great strides.
