Hello my name is Kenadee! I have had limited work with special needs children but it was something I LOVED and want to be more educated on. My mother, as well as my best friends mother, is a doctor at Henry Ford Alligence Health in Jackson MI. For the past four years I have loved volunteering all throughout different areas. Working and watching my mom and her friends care for many different patients inspired my goal to be a pediatrics physicians assistant. My mother being one of the head doctors gave me a little more free range then other volunteers to the spread of areas I could work in the hospital. One of my favorite sections was working with the special needs children. It required a lot of patience and learning on both ends to genuinely create a bond with the kids. I'm a quick learner and would love to continue to expand my abilities with understanding children.
