I have been working with newborns on the Obstetrics unit of my local hospital for the past 10 years. After being a part of the miracle of birth and beyond as a Registered Nurse I realized my true passion was newborns. In 2013, I became a Newborn Care Specialist and pursued working with newborns full-time. I have experience with premature babies, twins, triplets, and babies that require special medical needs. I am experienced in caring for all aspects of newborn care including gentle sleep training, routine establishment, feeding problems, GERD and more.

I have had the pleasure of working with Kelty as her Nursing Supervisor. She is a caring nurse with an always positive attitude. She provides patient-centered care with a gentle attitude and warm personality. She truly delivers individualized care to her patients, taking their personal needs, background, and feelings into consideration. She is competent in providing nursing care for laboring women, postpartum mothers and newborns. She is a certified neonatal resuscitation provider (and as I was her facilitator for this course, I can attest to her skills!) and has provided advanced care for newborns, including providing supplemental oxygen, managing blood sugars and IV fluids, and administering medications. She has been an absolute pleasure to work with!
