Hi there! I am a super energetic, positive and creative 31-year-old who has 14 years experience caring for children 3 months to 12 years of age. I am currently a Special Education teacher for PreK/TK age students in Oakland, CA. I have worked in various school settings, private and public, nannied and babysat for several families (with children of varying abilities), and volunteered for Special Olympics. I have a special place in nature and love to share that with children! With trips to local parks or even museums, I love bringing children into the real world to help them learn and grow in an ever growing society. Not only do I love children, but am happy to provide extra tasks/services if necessary. With all my years of experience, I am able to provide an age and developmentally appropriate teaching environment for your child that is safe, stable and supervised.

Kelsie is our go-to sitter for our 3.5yo autistic son. He adores her and you can tell they’re both super comfortable in each other’s presence. The biggest sign that it went well was coming home one evening to hearing him laughing while he played with Kelsie, and another where he happily curled up and fell asleep on the couch next to her. Our little guy’s new best friend!
