About Kelsey

I'd describe my personality as creative, compassionate, and having perseverance. I like tutoring because I can help kids be successful. The ah-ha moment makes all of the work worth it. I'm looking for a job that allows me to help children gain a better understanding of the world I started tutoring when I was in college. As a teacher, I also have tutored after school hours in small groups to help bridge the gaps in learning In my spare time, I like to spend time with my kids, crocheting, and doing art. I have four wonderful kids at home and have been teaching for 8 years My skills include the ability to make learning fun so it can stick. My creativity allows for hands-on learning as well. I also am able to think outside the box and come at problems from different angles in order to scaffold the child's learning.
