I have been directly working with children and adults with special needs for 4 years, but have been volunteering with Angels' Place in Southfield, MI since I was a child. I got my Bachelors degree in Sociology from Boston University and currently working towards my Masters in Special Education at Lesley University. I worked for 3 years as a Personal Care Attendant for 3 different individuals. I spent the last year running an internship program for high school students with disabilities in Boston/Cambridge, MA. I take a very individualistic approach to every person I work with, and understand that everyone needs different amounts of help and care in life.
