About Kelsey

I love working with kids because they genuinely make my life better. I've worked in childcare this long (17 years!) because I truly enjoy it. It's a privilege to engage my imagination, activate my sense of play, learn and adapt to unique young minds, and be made to laugh & smile by little souls. This job can be challenging at times, but finding solutions still fascinates me. Never a dull day-- just the way I like it. In my spare time, I love to scuba dive. I'm developing a passion for underwater photography and videography. I have a background in the arts, and I love to be creative in many ways. I'm a champion of human rights and have worked with unhoused youth and veterans, and with social justice groups. I'm a voracious reader and movie lover. I'm obsessed with traveling and experiencing new places and cultures. My top 3 skills are understanding each unique individual, investing in early development and being adaptable. I'd describe my personality as engaged, caring and thoughtful.
