About Kelsey

With a background in the sciences but a master's degree in the humanities, I am well equipped to tutor your child in a variety of subjects. I previously taught 2 years of high school level physics and chemistry, as well as helping those students with essay writing for college applications. I have been living in the Redding area now for 4 years and have tutored a variety of students from grade 1 through grade 12, in science, math, English and history. I have also worked with students with learning disabilities such as dyslexia and autism. Going through the COVID-19 pandemic has made us all adaptive and flexible, and I can tutor remotely or in person, and am familiar with many online learning modalities such as Khan Academy. Qualifications: -B. S. in Biology with a concentration in Physiology from Cornell University -M. Div from Harvard University -2 years high school teaching experience -6 years part time tutoring experience
