About Kelsey

Hi! I'm Kelsey: a published historian and passionate advocate for learning! I recently graduated with an M. A. in U. S. history from UNR, matriculating with a 4. 0. Along with history, my professional & academic background includes experience with writing, debate, political science, and philosophy. My personality is enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and good-humored! I enjoy tutoring because learning is a lifelong skill, and I learn just as much from students as they learn from/with me! I started tutoring during my undergrad education, and have tutored over 10 students in long- and short-term sessions regarding college admissions, English class, history, and more. My skills include essay writing, test prep, and critical analysis. In my spare time, I like to ice skate! Come find me at Reno Ice on Monday and Friday.
