Kelsey is fantastic with kids and a joy to work with as a parent. When I leave my kids with Kelsey I know they are in good hands. She is extremely patient and understanding while still setting boundaries in a kind way. She matches our parenting style when interacting with the kids, providing a consistency for them that really helps to support their routines and good habits. Everyone has that sitter that you know bedtime is going out the window and you’re going to be left to deal with the consequences the next day. Kelsey upholds our family rules and expectations so I can trust I’m not going to have to do repair work after leaving the kids with her. She is playful, creative and fun. The kids just can’t get enough time with her because they feel genuinely cared for and loved. She’s great at taking time to show interest in the things the kids want to share. She also has a skill of teaching and explaining things in a way they can understand. We are so grateful to have her as a part of our kid’s lives. If fantastic childcare wasn’t enough she has a high attention to detail around the house. Cleaning was in no way an expectation in our agreement; Yet I’ve come home several times to a house that is much tidier than I left it, making my time away a true recharge so I can focus on catching up with the kids instead of on the house. I simply can’t recommend her enough.
