Hi there, I'm happy you came across my profile! I believe my compassion, curiosity, humor, and patience make me well-qualified to help out. For the past year, I have been a full-time caregiver for a woman in her 90s who has Parkinson's Disease. I helped with her many aspects of her daily life, such as meals, transportation, and errands. I attended her medical and therapy appointments (physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy) and helped her with at-home exercises in these areas. Another large aspect of any caregiving role is companionship and ensuring that there is a great fit. We developed a lovely relationship and I am so happy to have had that experience. Before that experience, I had similar caregiving experience for over a year with an adult in her 30s who had a mental illness and wanted assistance in her daily living.

We hired Kelly to help care for my 93 year old mother in her home. Kelly supported her full time for over a year. Kelly was very organized, helpful and proactive in identifying needs. She helped my mother with all of her activities of daily living (meals, transportation, household tasks, etc) and acted as a personal assistant for business affairs (bill paying, insurance issues etc). She also managed and attended numerous medical appointments and therapies. She provided feedback to me from those appointments and made sure there was proper follow-up and things like physical and speech therapy were implemented at home. We would highly recommend Kelly for senior care.
