About Kelly

When I started a family I decided to put my career plans on hold and focus on raising my girls. However, with my youngest beginning Kindergarten in the Fall it is time to slowly put my career back on track. I have always had a passion for taking the time to know and understand the elderly. My closeness with my Grandparents and Great Aunt and Uncle gave me insight on what it really means to treat someone with dignity as they aged. Someone to actively listen to their stories. To give them a sense of their freedom and independence back and a sense of accomplishment of some level everyday. Although I do not have formal training I do have many years of experience with Alzheimer's, Dementia, and aging joints. When caring for loved ones I was involved in bathing, feeding, meal prep, cleaning, and companion care. Ideally, I would like to over the next year slowly begin working with one to two families giving their loved ones and them a sense of comfort, purpose, and trust.
