About Kelly

I'm passionate about nurturing the growth and development of children, which led me to become a child tutor. Being a certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, with 20 years of experience, I am proficient at teaching handwriting, and helping with the students' fine and visual motor skills. I consider myself patient, calm, creative, imaginative, friendly, and approachable. I work with children so I know how to communicate well with them, and deal with behaviors that may impact their learning abilities. I believe in open and honest communication with parents about their child's day and any issues that may arise. I'm comfortable enforcing household rules to ensure a structured and safe environment for the children in my care. When it comes to playtime, I enjoy a variety of games, including educational games that promote learning, physical games to help with kids who need movement during learning sessions to help them attend better. I love working with autistic kids from 5-12.
