With a bachelor's in Social Work and a masters in Teaching Special Education, I am to help students who struggle in the area of reading. Students in kindergarten- first grade really begin to learn the important rules of reading. Students who are struggling to read at these grade levels will often continue to struggle as they move forward in their school career. My aim is to improve students reading ability by teaching heavy phonics lesson and use strategies backed by the science of reading.
