I've always known I wanted to work with kids; I grew up babysitting, and working in church nurseries, and I completed a year long internship as an assistant teacher for a theater and dance class. I have been a nanny for several families with children ages infant-14, and am a regular babysitter for my siblings. After I moved to Houston, I was presented with the opportunity to teach children with Autism. I worked as an ABA therapist(applied behavioral analysis), and ran a social skills class for the first time, and I fell in love. It's my hope to one day have my own clinic that incorporates different forms of art therapy with ABA techniques.
