I believe that childhood is a unique and valuable stage of life. I plan to offer a play environment that will offer the right amount of interesting, explorative learning experiences. I will bring my 17+ years of planning lessons/experiences, crafts, and child development knowledge to your home and family, to help build a wonderful relationship between us, and to help your little one grow into the person they are fully capable of being. I have 14 years experience providing child care in a Center setting, I was a Leader Teacher in the Infant rooms; ages 6 weeks to 2 years old. Since 2013, I have been working with several families as an infant nanny. I received my Early Childhood Education Associate degree from Eastgate Community Collage in 2019. My first aid and Infant CPR are up-to-date, as well as my flu and other immunizations.

We've had the pleasure of having Kelly care for our babies for almost 2 years. Kelly started with us when our baby was 4 weeks old and the oldest just turned 2. From the very first day with us, it was clear that Kelly has substantial experience nurturing children. She immediately knew what to do for our little one and jumped right in. Kelly shows our children that she is a trusted, reliable adult. We have seen our children develop a special bond with her, which is based on mutual respect and adoration. Kelly looks at our children in the eyes when they speak. She's not distracted. When she's in our home, her sole focus is creating an environment for our children to explore their curiosity, learn, and develop their physical skills. They love to explore the outdoors together and go on walks. It is so impressive how Kelly's consistent presence and approach gives our baby confidence to play and begin to use his imagination independently rather than constantly relying on an adult for entertainment. Kelly is also somewhat of a children's librarian! She often brings in her own books to share, which is so refreshing for the kids to hear a variety of stories. Our children love story time with her. She reads countless books per day. As baby transitioned from drinking milk to eating solids, we didn't have to over-prepare. Kelly was able to craft balanced meals and snacks for him from leftovers and common staples in the fridge. We fully credit her for giving him the skills to be an independent eater from a young age. Kelly is glad to follow along instructions on how we wish to care for our children, but we've also learned many, many tips and tricks from her along the way! Kelly is a professional. She communicates clearly and is extremely reliable to show up every day and give the best version of herself. Kelly is our first experience with a nanny, and she has set the bar for the type of care we seek for our children. We weren't sure what it would be like to have someone in our home, but it truly has been the biggest blessing.
