I have 2 years of paid experience in senior care, however I cared for my dad with Alzheimer's for many years up until he passed away in my arms. His care included bathing/dressing, medications, feeding etc. Also my 7 yr old son had a brain tumor and towards the end of his life I had him at home on hospice and did all of his medications, including changing his I. V. bags and giving medications through his I. V. He also passed away in my arms at home. I am so blessed that I was able to be there for both of them! I was a nanny in my home for military families for many years and was certified to keep children for up to 6 months if their parents were deployed. I also nannied for families in their homes, where I cooked meals, did light housekeeping, & transported children to and from school and sports. I also cared for a friend for 2 yrs while he recovered from a stroke. I am a caring, happy, energetic person that loves to make people smile. I try to always see the positives in situations.
