I was a stay at home mother of two children, while caring for my own children I cared for my friends baby for the first year of his life, in 2004 when my kids were in school I applied to Little Falls School #3 (3-4 grade) as a Lunch Aid/substitute School Secretary, in 2007 I applied to Little Falls School #2 as a Teachers Aide in a Special Education classroom (k-2 grade) for 10 years primarily teaching math and reading to groups of kindergartners with learning disabilities, in June of 2017 the administration made a decision (due to budget) to let a group of Aide's go me being one of them, September 2017 to present I've been working at Passaic Valley H. S. (age 15-21) in a ABA program for students with Special Needs.. I am open to leaving the school system to exclusively work with a family.. checks in background and driving on file with care. com.. In my spare time I like to hike and kayak with my husband, still my best friend after 26 years.

Kelli looked after my 2 kids full time for 2 years, until my youngest started kindergarten. She's incredibly punctual and helped my youngest learn the skills he needed to be ready for school. Recently my kids were making bracelets at a bead store and the woman who worked there was amazed that my 4 year old son could thread the little seed beads onto the string. I felt like it was thanks to the frequent fine motor school activities he and Kelli did together. In addition, he knew all his numbers, letters, shapes and basic math, as well as some sight words before starting half day preschool. This gave him confidence in the classroom, which as the youngest in the class for both preschool and kindergarten has been key. His preschool teachers said he gravitated towards number and letter activities because of his confidence with it and they all assumed he did preschool the year before too.
