Hello! I've worked in healthcare, privately and in a rest home for approximately 15 years. I love caring for others! It's the most rewarding job I've ever had (so much so that it never felt like a job) and I can't imagine doing anything else! I enjoy finding out what the person I'm caring for enjoys doing and what kinds of music they like listening to. I have taken the people I've cared for to parks, concerts, senior centers, memory cafes, etc. You can trust that I will treat your loved one with the respect, dignity, and compassion that I would my own family member. I have stayed in touch with families whose loved one I have cared for because they are like family to me. I was recently named Caregiver of the Month from my agency in October 2024 and I am proud of that accomplishment.
