I'd describe my personality as loving, patient and content. I like caring for seniors because I appreciate the perspective they can provide. I love the opportunity to create a mutual friendship and source of trust and connection in a world that doesn't typically foster genuine human interaction. It brings me joy to help someone who needs assistance, and to be a source of encouragement and comfort. I'm looking for a job that provides a balance of challenge, emotional reward and stability. I started caring for seniors when I provided assistance to my own Grandmother who lived independently yet needed help with groceries, housework, library runs, etc. In my spare time, I like to spend time with family and friends, be in nature, bake, read and exercise. One thing you should know about me is that I will be invested in my role of caregiving for your loved one and would hope to establish a reliable schedule, etc. My skills include companionship, meal prep/groceries, housekeeping duties.
