I graduated nursing school in 1998 and have always worked in home care even prior to graduation as a home health aide. When I became a registered nurse I worked on a medical surgical unit for 3 years. After being understaffed, I knew I needed a change and turned to what I loved, assisting individuals in their home. I worked as a geriatric and hospice nurse specializing in dementia/Alzheimer's for 11 years then as a special needs pediatric nurse for 6 years. I am currently an independent nurse contractor working for the state of Massachusetts for a quadriplegic on a ventilator. Not only am I available for any medical needs including medication administration, dressing changes, G-Tube feedings, tracheostomy, vents, colostomies, bathing, foley caths, and vital signs. I am also available for housework, food preparation, cooking, errands, companionship, transportation, and laundry. I'm looking for part time work and my schedule is flexible. I have excellent references upon request.

Kelley has been my home health nurse over 3 years and has proven to be a reliable, hardworking and compassionate worker. Aside from her medical duties as a nurse she is responsible for cleaning and organizing my household. One of the qualities that I value the most is her pleasant disposition. She has been a valuable asset to me and I highly recommend her for any position she applies for.
