About Keisha

Hello I'm Keisha, I am 24 and a prospective student at Cuny's BMCC. I have 6 years of childcare experience. I studied an early childhood development course for a year while simultaneously working at daycare center. After a year they took me in as a full-time employee. I worked with various age ranging from 4months -7yrs old. I learnt incredible skills from both my co-workers and the children, my duties included changing diapers to navigating new emotions and teaching new skills. I helped with homework, set out lesson plans and prepared classroom activities to reach developmental achievements. My first family I looked after two kids a 5 month and 2-year-old, my current family I take care of twin boys who turned 5 a few months ago and a 7-year-old.
